Blue Baker -- Community

Our bakery offers tours for all ages. Monday through Wednesday between 9am and 10am usually works best, but if another day or time in needed, please let us know. The average visit takes 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the group's timeframe. We can easily accommodate a group of 40 at one time, but require adequate adult supervision during the visit.

As part of the tour, we explain the processes used in our scratch bakery and the function of the equipment we use. We also let the children try their hands at shaping their own loaves of bread that we bake and deliver to your school later that day or the following morning. Snacking on warm freshly baked cookies at the end is always a crowd pleaser at the end!

Since 2001, BLUE BAKER has donated over $58,000 to various charitable organizations. Donation requests may be made with the form available via this link -> Blue Baker Donation Form.

In 2006, BLUE BAKER began a partnership with the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) for our Annual Cookies for Kids Day. All proceeds from cookie sales during this event go directly to the CMN. Participants in our cookie eating contest are able to raise donations for the CMN as well.

	In 2007, BLUE BAKER partnered with Candy 95 for the Christmas Angel Tree event. With the help of our crewmembers and customers we were able to give children in need across our community a merry Christmas.

BLUE BAKER won The Bryan/College Station Eagle's Reader's Choice award for Best Bakery for each year from 2008 to 2012.

BLUE BAKER was awarded Best of the Brazos Valley awards for Best Sandwich for each year from 2004 to 2012.

BLUE BAKER also received the award for Best Delivery for consecutive years from 2007 to 2012.

BLUE BAKER received the 2008-2012 awards for Best Bakery.

BLUE BAKER received the Best Cookie award from 2010-2012.

	In both 2008 and 2009, BLUE BAKER was awarded a Newman 10 Award for the fastest growing small businesses in the Brazos alley. This award was presented by the Bryan Rotary Club, Chamber of Commerce and Mays Business School.
